Keeping The Joy In Christmas

O Holy Night…

To my wonderful Blogville friends …
Here's wishing you a Blessed Christmas
along with wishes that 2013 is good to you.

It' is diffcult to think happy thoughts in light of
the recent tragedy in Connecticut and around the world.

But we have to keep reminding ourselves that
there are so many more good people in the world
... and you are among them!

  1. Thank you Marvel! Where did you get that wonderful picture. I hope it's one of your cats, it would make a great Christmas card.

The recent tragedy happened in a neighboring town where I live and it's not been easy to get past the feelings of sadness. I hope all the families of the victims are able to find some peace someday.

May we all have a terrific year in 2013 and remember the happy times spent with family and friends.

Wishing you and yours a Merry Christmas and all good things in the New Year!

    1. Hi Arlene,
I'd like to claim that adorable operatic kitten, but it was a photo I discovered in a collection of Christmas pictures.

I cannot fathom how you must feel ... such a tragedy so near your home. The pain of the families, the sweet babies, the heroic adults ... oh my, it haunts us all around the world. I too wish them peace, but it will be someday.

It does make us hold our loved ones a bit closer! And we do reach for those times in the past when all seemed well with the world.

Best wishes for a Happy New Year.

  2. Merry Christmas to you and yours, Marvel.

Best wishes for the New Year; let's hope it is a blessed one. I'm looking forward to reading more about life on a little farm, Royal, Li'l Joe and the other animals, and seeing your Sunday Stills.

  4. Marvel...could not find an email to answer your question about the barn. Our two big barns were built over 100 years ago and will continue to stand as long as we keep the roofs in good shape. Glad you like them.

  5. You're so right, such tragedy is unimaginable; but evil will never triumph where love and hope abounds!
