Excellent shots, looks like a nice serene place, ever been there when the swallows return..:-))
ReplyDeleteHi Ed,
DeleteAbout the swallows ... they still have the annual parade, but the Swallows are now coming to our house, instead. Apparently when they restored the Mission, it disturbed the Swallows. They are working on that problem. Hummm ... think I'll post on that subject. Thanks for the idea.
Beautiful.... one of the items on my bucket list, is to travel the Calif. mission trail....

DeleteI've been there! When I was living in Santa Monica, 1983/1984, my wonderful aunt took me & the LSH there... I remember her singing "When the swallows return to Capistrano..."
ReplyDeleteThanks for the memory, she's gone three years now and all her nieces & nephews still miss her, she was a nun but the feistiest, most un-nunlike lady you'd ever meet!
