Outside my window ... after the rain

I glanced out of my window
to see if there was still rain.

It had actually been only a small sprinkle,
just enough to make things glisten.

However, what caught my eye were these flowers,
simply begging for attention.

How could I possibly
have missed them all this time?

  1. Just so beautiful...I love the color. Isn't it fun to notice something that was there...but not really seen? I get fixated on one thing and often do not see something that is right there...and, when I do see it, it usually brings a smile! There is so much beauty around us everyday...thank you for reminding me that I need to open my eyes more!

Oh how I wish we had some of your rain...: )

    Have a sweet week!

    Hugs,
    Sue

  4. Cindy,
Thank you, thank you for the name of the plant. I just couldn't remember.

You saved me hunting through the well worn garden book.

  6. Lovely photos. I don't think we have that plant in the UK, I've not noticed one! I don't recognise the name either. I like the photos of the hen and ducks in the rain too.
